Alastair McCaig
Alastair McCaig first worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland in Glasgow before coming down to London in 1997 to join Williams De Broe, working as part of an Investment Management team dealing with clients in an advisory and discretionary capacity. As part of this team he regularly over saw client dealing in equities, currencies, bonds and derivatives. After six years he then moved into specialising in derivatives, specifically CFDs, spread bets and options.
Over the last four years at WorldSpreads, in his capacity as the firm’s Head of Investment Strategy, he has regularly appeared on TV, with over 200 appearances on CNBC, Sky News, Reuters, BBC and Bloomberg. He has also been quoted frequently in CityAM, The Financial Times, Scotland on Sunday, The Independent and a number of financial magazines. He also oversees WorldSpreads’ blog and contributes content for Sky News and the BBC.
Steven Flintham
Steven Flintham started his career at Lehman Bros in London where he worked on the foreign exchange dealing floor specialising in US Dollar/Deutsche Mark and the US Dollar/Yen crosses. Steven then moved to a Scandinavian Asset Management company specialising in the management of foreign exchange funds for global high net worth individuals and institutions for a total of four years.
He then moved into equities where he has specialised in trading derivative products for the last twelve years, running various advisory and managed accounts. In particular, Steven’s experience has focused on individual equities using a combination of fundamental and technical data.
